Today Pine Street is a pedestrian walkway that runs through the Utica Police Campus, running north at Oriskany Street to the south where it ends at Lafayette Street.
Pine has been renamed "W.D. Chapman Drive", in honor of fallen law enforcement officer, Senior Patrolman, William D. Chapman. While responing to a call on July 19, 1980, Patrolman Chapman later died from injuries sustained in an automobile crash.
